Hard Reset for Huawei Honor 6x (2016)
In our description database there are 3 solutions for performing hard reset for Huawei Honor 6x (2016).
Choose the first method and follow the steps to perform a hard reset. If the first solution does not work, try the next method.
Please remember! Hard reset will delete any and all data your device contains; like pictures, contacts, messages, apps etc. Everything. Huawei Honor 6x (2016) device will be brought back to the same configuration as that of a brand new device.
Instruction I:
1. For starters, power down the device.
2. Continue by pressing and holding the Power & Volume Up buttons for a moment.
3. Huawei logo will appear on screen. When it does, release the aforementioned buttons.
4. Almost there... choose the wipe data/factory reset option - Volume buttons scroll, Power confirms.
5. Choose the wipe data/factory reset again, and then select the reboot system now option.
6. The phone will now reset, completing the hard reset operation. Yay.
Instruction II:
1. Switch the device off by pressing the Power button.
2. Next, open Menu > Settings > advanced settings > Backup & reset > Factory data reset > Reset phone (twice).
3. Done.
Instruction III:
1. Turn on the phone.
2. Now open the dialer and type in this code: *#*# 2846579#*#*
3. Lastly, select the Restore Factory option and press OK. Done!
